The full process,
end to end.

01

User Research

Interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies to uncover real user needs before solutions are assumed.

02

Information Architecture

Structuring content and navigation flows for clarity, hierarchy, and intuitive wayfinding.

03

Wireframing

Low-fidelity blueprints that communicate structure and intent before visual design takes over.

04

Interaction Design

Defining behaviours, states, and transitions that feel natural, responsive, and considered.

05

Prototyping

High-fidelity, browser-based prototypes built in HTML, CSS, and React — test-ready for users, interactive enough to align stakeholders, detailed enough for engineers to build from directly.

06

Visual Design

Typography, colour, and composition that build brand identity and create genuine delight.

07

Usability Testing

Moderated and unmoderated sessions to validate designs and surface problems before launch.

08

Design Systems

Scalable component libraries and documentation that keep product teams aligned and moving fast.

Claude Code

I prototype in code.
Not just Figma.

I use Claude Code every day to build browser-based prototypes in HTML, CSS, and React. They're polished enough to test with real users, interactive enough to align stakeholders on direction, and specific enough for engineers to build from without a revision cycle to interpret what the static spec meant.

About

Designing with
intent, clarity,
and craft.

I'm DJ Wooster — a UX/UI designer who believes great design is invisible. I work across the full product lifecycle, from shaping early concepts with research and strategy to delivering pixel-perfect interfaces and scalable design systems.

I've partnered with startups, scale-ups, and established brands across fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS. My process is rigorous and collaborative — I embed with teams, speak the language of engineering, and stay grounded in what real users actually need.

I build browser-based prototypes directly in HTML, CSS, and React using Claude Code — every day. What used to require a separate developer pass is now part of my standard workflow: interactive references that users can actually test, stakeholders can react to, and engineers can build from without ambiguity.
